The political climate in Denmark is strongly affected by a ongoing culture-debate. Simultaneously as danish contemporary culture is questioned islamophobia and intolerance grows within the danish society. Suddenly the culture of everything is questioned. The same goes for symbolism.

This flag may seem exotic and religious but in reality it is nothing but a simple crop of the town arms of the city of Copenhagen.
